have you tried a pair of slink feet compatible shoes yet? i just got these awesome platforms from dilly dolls and i am in LOVE.

more stores need to do this. seriously, i don’t know if i can wear shoes that only work with system feet anymore. i am pretty spoiled with these!

i am also wearing a pair of really cool eyes from nomine. i am always happy to see nomine making new stuff! these are a must have. there are so many different styles and customization options! you will definitely be seeing more of these eyes on me.

useful hair fair freebies!

yup, i forgot about this blog post! i rounded up as many freebies as i could during the blogger preview, and put together some photos of what you can find. i did not buy all the dollarbies, because i don’t like to buy things that have no photo of what i’m getting, so i am also going to post a list of all the stores with gifts! i am also not posting the non hair items, because this blog is for hair fair, and i want to show off hair! there are a few clothing items and some poses as well. those will be noted in the list.

my favourite part of blogging hair fair is to show off the awesome hair i buy every year. i am always overwhelmed with choices, and my bank account says NOOOOO.

i managed to keep myself down to 4 styles buti am thinking about going back for a few more.

as usual i ended up with pig tails! the lamb pig tails are super cute, i have a feeling i’ll be wearing them a lot.

the lelutka hair is so pretty in person, the photo does not do it justice. it comes in 2 parts, the main part of the hair which is unrigged and mod, and the pony tail which is rigged. such a cool idea and a great work around to help fit different head shapes! the crown is also optional, and i think this hair would be a cute look for casual or dressy ocassions.

deco’s hair does not come with a hair base, but i love it because i can layer it on top of some of the cool ones i’ve picked up over the years. i like hair like this for post apocolyptic characters as well as just cool punk styles.

tableau vivant was hard to pick.. i wanted ALL of them but could only afford one. i really love their hair colour packs, the equinox pack is perfect for me! a few random colour combos plus black and white.. more hair shops need to make packs like this!

as usual, discord designs has made some spectacular dreads for hair fair! i was so pleased to get my hands on them to blog.

top left: Ciss
top right: Bobbi
bottom left: Cosima
bottom right: Deoridhe

all four of these styles are fantastic! the included hair base makes the hair really blend in with your head so that it looks like its really knotted in there. the short styles are unrigged, so you can resize if you need. i was a bit sad that cosima was no mod (of course because it is rigged mesh) because part of it did not fit my head. thankfully the hair base makes it hard to see that. i am pretty smitten with cosima actually.. its my fave of the bunch!

Hair Fair 2013!

oh my god i have been covering hair fair since 2009! that is a lot of hair O_O this is my 5th year as a hair fair blogger and i hate to say i’m a bit of a slacker this year since rl has stepped in. i will do all the stuff i usually do, but it’ll be posted a tad bit slower than i’m used to posting it!
